Login to Canvas & Clever
Canvas is the district’s online Learning Management System (LMS) that supports digital learning and access to curriculum resources. At Shadowbriar, students and teachers use Canvas to engage with classroom content, view assignments, and track academic progress. It’s a helpful platform that supports both in-school and at-home learning.

What is Canvas?
Canvas is a secure, web-based system where students can:

  • View class materials and digital lessons

  • Submit assignments and complete activities

  • Receive feedback from teachers

  • Monitor their learning progress

Parents can also use Canvas Parent to follow along with their child’s learning and stay connected with classroom updates.

Accessing Learning Apps through Clever
Students log in to Canvas and other learning programs (like Imagine Learning, STEMScopes, and more) using Clever, the district’s single sign-on portal. Clever keeps things simple with one login for many apps used during the school day.

Getting Started:

  • Students can access Clever and Canvas using their HISD username and password

  • Clever is available at clever.com/in/hisd

  • Canvas is available here
