About Us

Shadowbriar Elementary School opened its doors in the fall of 1992 and proudly serves students in west Houston. The school takes its name from the nearby Shadowbriar subdivision, reflecting its close ties to the surrounding community. 

Located in a vibrant and diverse neighborhood, Shadowbriar supports a strong partnership between families, staff, and the community. Today, the school serves approximately 350 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Shadowbriar is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and academically rich environment where all learners can thrive.
